It could be true - depends on your body. I get yeasties at the drop of a hat, so antibiotics usually do give me one. You can ask your doctor for a couple of preventive doses of diflucan, and you can take supplements like Azo Yeast (find it at any drug store) or Yeast Fighters (Twin Labs makes it - I get it at Whole Foods). You can also try eating a low-sugar diet rich in veggies for a few weeks, and do all the things you normally would do to avoid a yeast infection - don't wear tight clothes, wear cotton undies, if you don't sleep naked already at least sleep without undies.
