I recently picked up a UTI, and just went to the doctor to get antibiotics for it. Hopefully this will be over soon, as I do not wish this upon ANYONE.

Now, everyone is telling me that the antibiotics will probably give me a yeast infection after this is over. Is this true?

If it is true, is there anything I can do to prevent it? What if I get more of the same antibiotics and take them for an extra week?

I really hate yeast infections, and having one right after a UTI sounds like pure and utter hell to me.
