Buzzing speaker problem

I'm having a problem with the radio in my 454 SS Chevy pickup. It's a 1990. I know that several of you younger folks are much more into sound systems than I am so I was wondering if you could give me some help.

It has the stock radio and, gasp, cassette player. It is a four speaker system and the left rear speaker buzzes and hums so bad that I don't use the radio. For me, traveling without tunes is like not breathing. Before I start tearing out the plastic trim to get to the speaker or start pulling bits and pieces out from under the dash I was wondering if any of you had any ideas.

Any help would be appreciated.
