-Ever-,
The time is the thing there, that and FRESH Henna.. make it, and use it all or throw it away within a week or so. (It goes farther than you think!) Leaving it on for shorter times give lighter, less durable designs. 10 hours is fine.. I don't know that I could tell the difference between 8 or more... but anyway, THere are a number of factors that will directly affect the length of time that Tat will last. IF you get good fresh henna, and IF you mix it well, and IF you leave it on overnight, then you should get 2-3 weeks out of it. It ALSO depends on the area that you put it (thicker skin is better) and washing it / wearing clothes that rub on it, will make it fade much faster. (It doesn't stain all the way thru the skin, so as the skin wears off and is replaced, then too, is the design) Another thing I would say is experiment. You are going to find certain consistancies work better for you.. It should be about like toothpaste, and I personally prefer to work with a bottle with a tube from the tip. Many others prefer the cone. I think my airbrush usage probably directly affects my preference for a similar feeling bottle... Experiment on an area easily covered by clothes.. so if you mess up, and it LASTS then you don't have to call in sick for 3 weeks....
Cheers
