I agree, music is too whiny. Not the lyrics themselves, but the singers are literally too fucking whiny.

A Simple Plan, Sum 41, all those bands, they're so HORRIBLE. It sounds like they took a 14 year old going through puberty and put him in front of the mic. They don't even TRY to have a sound or have personality.. it's all nasaly pre-pubescent singing and I honestly don't see how ANYONE can like it (unless you yourself are going through "the change").

Some compared this to grunge... nothing alike. At least grunge was raw anger and intelligent. Most of the newer music is just more like whiny "I gotta do my homework and be in bed by 9 or I get grounded and can't play with my pokemon" type of angst.

Seriously, it's like half these people wrote the entire album in like 20 minutes. None of the songs have a single ounce of thought put into them. They're just generic lyrics that *ANYONE* could come up with (which is probably why there are so many of these bands nowadays).
