Uuuuuh. Yeah. Nothing original? Right. That's like saying Shaq's not big. Most everything Patton does is original, and you can't tell me anything about where Patton gets his ideas. For you to call him a fanboy is ridiculous, as he is more eclectic than almost anyone out there. He draws inspiration from anything, on a whim, and composes music like no one else. And he's been doing it for a very long time.
A lot of people don't like him, as is the case with any artist. Or any entertainer, for that matter. And they can argue over what sucks about him or what rules about him. I agree Patton's either your cup of tea or he's not. But for someone to say he's not original? I'm hard pressed to find someone AS original. And the Zorn fanboy thing doesn't click with me either. How do you figure?
