Are you accomplishing your goals?
I graduated in 2003 from highschool. I want to continue my education but I need either a scholarship or around $35,000 CDN to attend the school I would like to study at. I invisioned myself working fulltime and painting and working on my portfolio after work and on weekend, instead, working has consumed my motivation and inspiration to accomplish my personal goals. That is my fault for not learning how to strike a balance and so, on tuesday, I am resigning from my job. I feel guilt over it already as I like my boss but I need a soild block of time for myself. I hope to sell the Porsche I have been working on over the last year and use the money to travel next. It feels like I wasted the past eleven months of my life, I regret not abusing the oportunity I have now to live freely at home still, I don't know why I even thought working fulltime would help me to accomplish my goals. I guess this is more of a release for me.
Do you define your goals and set out to accomplish them? Looking back over the past 12 months do you feel your time was well used or wasted?
