The Miami Hurricanes are reportedly exploring the option of joining the ACC. Syracuse and Boston College have also been linked to a new expanded Atlantic Coast Conference.
The benefits for the ACC are obvious. Miami's football excellence, plus Syracuse's reputation as the defending basketball champs and Boston College with....really nice uniforms and they once had Scoony Penn.
However, can the Big East survive losing 3 quality schools?
Was the Big East too big anyway and this will just increase competition among the remaining schools???
