Is this possible? I want to reformat my mom's computer, because my stupid brother has filled it with spyware and dialers in his eternal quest for porn - he even downloaded a file called "Jordan Hardcore Porn.mpeg.exe"! And then he ran it. The computer's clean now, but to be on the safe side I want to reformat it and do a clean install. However, I don't want to download all the security updates and service pack again because a) it will take ages, and b) the computer will be vulnerable while I'm doing it. So can I burn them to a CD and re-install them after the reformat? If so where do I find them, and how do I reinstall them?
