Midas revisited
A man is walking down the street. By chance he happens to look down and see a lamp (the oil kind) lying in the gutter. As he picks it up and begins to clean it off, his rubbing summons a genie from the lamp that immediately grants the man the gift of the Midas Touch. From that day onward, everything the man touched turned into mufflers.
