regarding roger clemens contract option not to go with the astros on away games when he's not in the rotation bonds replied...

or something along those lines - i heard it on espn radio but couldn't find a link...

my take on it is clemens doesn't have to go with them if he's not in the rotation - why bother - whereas bonds he's not a pitcher -he plays every damned day - so why's it become racial?

there's nothing racial about it - nolan ryan didn't go on road trips when out of the rotation and it didn't come up then - it's no wonder bonds has distanced himself from others

if i were the astros and had a choice of having clemens once in 5 days or not at all is a no brainer
