I don't know for sure, but I think she means that she wouldn't trust them for anything but oral sex. Obviously there are laws and regulations about how safe condoms have to be for them to be on sale, so I'm sure the flavored ones are fine.
Maybe they are more likely to break. I'm sure there are lots of people here (I vaguely remember some threads) where people say Durex are more likely to beak because they've had bad experiences, or Trojans are, or Ansell are, etc.
