Most people, are not sure of themselves at all, they are just better actors than others. If a person says they have no insecurities, then they either have the biggest ego in the world or are a liar.
It's OK to not have strong interests, you haven't found the right one yet, no reason to settle. Keep exploring your interests and other people who have that interest, you will eventually find something that you are passionate about. When yu do, the people who share those interests will also come.
