I think he is gonna be a star. A few years from now he is probably go to England, Spain or Italy and make the big cash. I have seen him interviewed and wow, is he a class act. He can handle himself on camera better than most guys in every other sport.
Be patient. He will get better with every game and will be an impact player in the next year or so. Once he is, he will help inspire more kids to play and help the game in the States. You guys did pretty well in the last World Cup and with him on your team...you will just as well if not better. You lucky to have him.
Canada sucks in soccer.
