Songs for a Funeral
Music is an incredibly important part of my life, it always has been. I'm young, married, and childless right now, so I don't have a will. But I *do* have a CD with songs for my funeral on it. The wife says it's the height of morbity, I think it's just common sense for me. I update it occasionaly, mostly to add a new track or two, but not often.
It's incredibly personal, prehaps one of the most intimate and thought provoking things I've done, so I won't be sharing the complete track list, but I will give a few snipets:
Last Stop:This Town by the eels.
Boss DJ by sublime
and I'm currently in a debate to add the Firefly theme song...if it was over 60 seconds, it would make it in a heart beat, but as it is...
Anyway, guess I'm just curious as to if anyone else has done this or not. If it's not to morbid for you, I'd highly suggest it as an excercise, if nothing else.
