....we've had a lot of luck (7 week old, right now) with burping him when he's on my wife's shoulder, rather than while he's sitting. Sounds like you daughter's got some pretty routine feeding/gas issues. She'll learn when she needs to burp, too, and let you know in one way or another. Best of luck!
