It isn't near done or anything.. but it's really my second piece of work this year (i've been really slack) - whatta ya think? - I think it's all over the place
anyway:
Wind gently blowing in my face
Like a dark, and cold place
Waves collapse and crash
Like hammers, they bash
My hands shake, my fists clench
I walk away and sit on a bench
Suddenly, lightning strikes
Bolts of power stream from the sky
I wonder to myself, am I about to die?
Like a beast that knows it’s been caught
No use to try and fight, I’ve been bought
Like a helpless soul that has no escape
Here I am,
With the last few moments of my life
My life flashes before my eyes
Like a horrible nightmare it hits
Suddenly I’ve realized something isn’t right
I close my eyes and it slowly fades to white
All hope and inspiration gone
I’ve left a few wounds behind
Like a video that’s on rewind
My life goes back through it’s past tracks
I can’t go back, it has to end now
I know I’m lost it was at my own cost
The earth starts to shake
It’s not an earthquake
The ground starts to split
Light coming from the gaps
It was all setup, a trap
People narrow mindedly, plan my demise
Now I’m stuck in a place, with out a face
Like that person you never really knew
Wake up to yourself, it’s you
