There's a small local Vintage Wine store in my town. Whenever I want good wine I go in and ask the lady working the corner "this is what I plan to eat or have with my wine, or this is the type of event, which wine would you suggest", she'll go through and show me which wines she likes, and fully describe their flavor, taste, and everything. I know which one I'll end up buying when she picks up a bottle, stares at it, and then hugs the bottle and says "this is one of my favorites!".
