A couple years ago when I was a bit on the chubby side I had a diet that was basically...one or two servings of fruits in the morning, anything but meat at lunch [but a reasonable serving of course], and at dinner I could have a serving of meat with whatever else. But then I basically had no snacks or very little. Saying this I have to mention that I eat mostly stir fry and rice, nothing with heavy sauces and creams and such so that's a factor too. I found that was a really healthy diet, it kept me full, it was still healthy, it tasted good, and it was really easy to stick to. It didn't work very fast perse [a month or so] but afterwards I could keep the weight off with no trouble.
