speaking of cameras (out of the price range in the first post), after reading about it here I was looking at websites discussing the Nikon D70 - very nice looking. I have personally played with the Canon EOS Digital or whatever that is called precisely but would rather spend a a bit more on the Nikon now if I was able to buy either one right now.
My G2 is very functional but just the thought of a true fast SLR shutter with my current compact flash cards excites me.
