So true. Hallucinagens are often mistaken for party drugs like alcohol and are seriously underestimated. Users of these drugs can have experiences that swing either way (complete euphoria or complete terror or something completely neither.. just bizarre). They can have a tremendous impact on your psych like no other drugs.
Any emotionally intense or traumatic event in someones life can impact their world view (such as the death of a family member, or the birth of a child). Psychedelic drugs can induce that kind of emotional intensity (good or bad) and can leave a mark on your consiousness forever, wether its real or imagined. Know the risks before you take the drugs. If you do decide to experiment, take the precautions necassary, such as making sure your in a safe enviroment, and with people you trust.
