Some questions,
1) Are you a comic book fan? If not then why do you care? Comic book fans, like me, want to see the characters on the big screen.
2) What comic book movies have you seen? Ya Captain America blows, as did Steel, and many of the later Batman and Superman movies BUT the first two Superman movies did not blow. They were great and it didnt matter if you were a comic fan or not. Spider-man didnt blow, neither did the original Batman. X-men and X2 were both quite good.
Saying that all comic movies blow is like saying that all comedies blow or all sci-fi movies blow. Sure some do, but in every genre theres the good and the bad.
