Snooping should never be allowed unless a parent is concerned about a child. First, only one side of whatever is found is seen in most cases and it may look a lot worse than it truly is, causing more pain or doubt than the reality would. Without going into it, I was being spied on and accused of all sorts of things that simply weren't the case. End result? Lost trust on both sides. I now have things set up under passwords, hidden folders and hisory clearance upon log-offs and quite frankly, I feel freer this way. If you suspect something, whether it's an affair or gross overspending, better to talk about things before suspicions take over the imagination than to wonder and be silent. Maybe things won't be set right, but they won't be driving you crazy either with worse-case scenarios being imagined. Just my 2c....
