I had that exact same problem with mine. Got it for Christmas, so I wasn't enthusiastic about sending it in. i'm pretty comfortable disassembling/cleaning guns, so I took the receiver apart and found that the spring which goes into the back of the trigger wasn't installed correctly. Instead of going into it, it was caught on the outer rim and was all cock-eyed.
Anyways, that fixed the problem, probly been a few thousand rounds thru it since then.
