Sounds like you are in a jam, jam. Couple things....I am in the staffing industry so I do speak from lots of experience. Minimum wage, for one, is legally the least a company can pay you for work. If you are making less than minimum wage, your *great ass* manager is breaking the law. You are working overtime? Are you being paid for it? If not, your *great ass* manager is breaking the law. Safety seems to be a major issue with the *great ass*. READ THIS: HE IS BREAKING THE LAW!!!!!! In fact, there are all sorts of issues that he seems oblivious to: child labor laws, harassment laws, wage laws, and safety laws.
You can do several things:
QUIT!!! Why are you still there? I don't care that you have to pay off your car. You can get another job that pays you what you are legally worth and save up faster. Did you think of that?
Have you tried talking to your boss about some of these things he is doing? Perhaps you will gain some respect if you show him you are deserving of it. If you continue to let him treat you this way, he will. Are you afraid of losing your job if you speak up? GOOD! Tell the mother fucker off and get a better job bro!
Have you thought about reporting him to the appropriate labor authorities?
I understand your frustrations, but you are the one who can make the difference. Therefore, and I don't mean to offend you, but I don't have a lot of sympathy for you if you are willing to LET this guy walk all over you.
Best of luck in what you choose to do.
