How long has it been hard to get tickets?
I was through Chicago 2 years ago and got tickets before I left through ticketmaster I think. They were amazing seats right behind home plate a bit off towards third. They weren't hard to get at all and that was just a few weeks before the game.
The game was great as was the whole experience. Wrigly field is awsome, so glad we got to see a game there on the way through.
