Cubs Tickets - Need Advice Please!
I want to go to a Cubs game on April 24th, Saturday with 2 other guys. Of course, the official ticket source is sold out. I'd like to have the tickets before we go to Chicago so I don't have to waste time on Saturday finding tickets.
I would appreciate any advice on the best source for tickets, online or elsewhere. (there are hundreds of websites that show up on google) Also, what should I expect to pay for tickets to the game - I don't care where we sit - just so we are inside. (I'll go ahead and pay what it takes - I just don't want to get screwed) I would appreciate any tips. Thanks!! |

Only 2 tickets here I'm afraid. Maybe noodle around some more for a seller with 3. Good luck. |

Getting Cubs tickets is hard, unless you have a bunch of cash to throw around. If worst comes to worst, you can always get them from the ticket brokers outside the stadium, but you'll still pay way too much for them.

Getting tickets this year is ridiculous. I tried shortly after they went on sale and all the summer games were sold out. You might get lucky and score a couple of bleacher seats before game time outside the bleacher entrance, but be prepared to pay. I think face value is $28, probably could go as much as $100 depending on who the opponent is.
I have been able to get good seats on the day of or a few days before a game through their ticket office. Some tickets are always held back for use by special guests, friends and family of players, coaches, umps, etc. Not all get used and are sold by the ticket office. Good luck. |

How long has it been hard to get tickets?
I was through Chicago 2 years ago and got tickets before I left through ticketmaster I think. They were amazing seats right behind home plate a bit off towards third. They weren't hard to get at all and that was just a few weeks before the game. The game was great as was the whole experience. Wrigly field is awsome, so glad we got to see a game there on the way through. Good luck with the tickets.

I use a broker called ticketfinders.
