It's always difficult to date someone you work with.
Especially if this is a job that you don't want to have to leave.
If you think it's worth trying then by all means, pursue...
Just remember that if anything goes awry, the entire workplace is going to know about. And if it's particularly dirty, her friends, which means your co-workers, are going to know the ins and outs.
I've had it work both ways. When the break up was bad though it took me months to shake off that "dirty asshole" label that followed me around for months.
