I have a Pioneer head unit with 52W x 4 (i am pretty sure max not rms)

Would adding an amplifier for the speakers, such as this one:

would add to the quality of the sound and more better sound at higher volumes (expecially with the windows down, it gets hard to hear so I have to crank it up)

The amp is $199 and the speakers are stock (1988 BMW 325) but they are really really nice speakers so far. I cna actually get some serious bass from them once i added the Pioneer unit it sounded like I had some subs in the back. Pretty cool because the stock radio was awful and the new unit made my speakers sound better ten-fold. Would the new amp make them sound even better, especially at higher volumes, for better quality?
