Check the Beep Codes list for your Mobo. I had a similar problem when I was working on my PC, and the Beep Code pointed me right towards the RAM. Sure enough, reset the chips and all went fine.
Any errors before post should be pointed out. One long beep, 2 short ones.. etc..
