SF: I already tried that, but none of the processes seem to be taking up much usage. Filemonitor is telling me that explorer is being accessed alot, along with "winlogon". Hmmm this program is now loading down the proccessor. Can anyone give some clue as to what winlogon does? I'm going to shut it down, and see what happens.

Well i can't shut it down. Obviously windows needs it to work. What connection would this program have with 3DSMAX where is would use so much CPU power when i close the program?
