As for your problem.. not sure, sorry. I'm just here to post about Mandrake 10 Community hehe.
I've read a couple reviews on Mandrake 10 Community.. overall it's a good thing, but it has some major bugs (the first CD won't boot for some people.. you have to insert the second, boot off it.. switch back to the first, and install.. kind of a pain). I'd wait for Mandrake 10 (non-community) to come out in a few months. Maybe they'll have fixed some of the bugs by then.
