I also find that "guy humor" is incredibly sophomoric.
When it comes to humor, guys (I know, I know there are tons of guys who aren't) are searching for the lowest common denominator. We laugh at shit stories, fart jokes, sexist remarks, and we love to tell "stories" about women. We know that 3/4 of what we say is complete and total bullshit.
That being said, when women want to know what the "boys" talk about, we (men) know that you guys won't think it's funny. In turn, if we do tell you, you get that disgusted look and start spouting off things like misogyny, passive-aggressive and alpha-male.
Which leads me, mercifully, to my last comment. I feel it's rather persumptuous to assume that this is all men talk about. It's not. I feel we should also be reminded that women don't always talk about things that are beneficial for the forward advancement of mankind. Unless you consider "God, his Mom drives me crazy" and "that bitch at work" stories necessary for the forward march of civilization.
