Is this a western digital?
I have two in my computer and both sound liek the spin up, stop, and spin up again...
i've had one of them for over a year and the other i got about two weeks ago... so far they've been working just fine but i havent noticed MUCH delay on the boot time, perhaps 2-4 seconds
