They can be a lot of fun used on either sex. Some people find the ones with the string uncomfortable, and may prefer a more rigid dildo type of effect. It certainly intensifies things a LOT. just be certain to use them with care, including plenty of lube and warm up, so that it's not an unpleasant, or unhealthy experience.
