But in brief, posts in "Nonsense" don't count towards post count (although maybe Halx has introduced code to do so if the posts are more than one or two words, but I don't know.)

Other posts in other areas count, but if staff thinks you are spamming, then you might very well find your post count knocked back and a warning sent to you.
