Also (and I realise my opinion wasn't solicited here), I found that Silverchair was good at the time their first album came out. I think the world needed some teen-angst-muffled-guitary-sounds, but with little in the way of imaginative lyrics. It really worked well for them. Is it just me, or did they really sort of drop off after that? Maybe the music scene changed such that their style wasn't really appreciated on as grand a scale?
