I can only talk of my experiences on this situation. I started smoking because some of my good friends started and liked it, that got me curious. And over time more and more of my friends started smoking pot. By the end of high school most of the senior class smoked pot. I'm talking about like 80% of the kids in our class did it. The only influence pot had on my friends was it introduced me to some new people who I would never be friends with otherwise. If somone I like choses not to smoke thats their decision and I'll respect that. However if somone decides not to be my friend because of a choice I have made in my life to smoke weed, then that person isn't really my friend in the first place.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Weed brings people together. Your having a fight with someone, smoke some weed toegther and all will be forgiven, or maybe a fight is in order. But the point is,
"Hey, you blaze?"
"Hell yeah I blaze."
So many friendships have been started on these two simple sentances alone. And shit, don't give me this bad influence crap. If the kid didn't want to do it, then he wouldn't have done it. It's time that kids start taking responsibility for their own actions. When me and my boy got arrested for possession, my pops tried to blame that shit on him. Fuck that, it was my fault we got caught.
