pistols from the punisher
 

I was watching the punisher and I was wondering what kind of pistols he used. Apparently they are 1911s but what was it that he messed with at the front of the barrel?

if I remember correctly they were butchered Colt's with compensators on them.

Looking at your other post, it seems you are going to buy a 1911 almost solely because it was in a movie. I think this is incredibly dumb. If I am wrong, I'm very sorry... but from what I see, I can easily come to this conclusion.

it's a modified series 80 Colt 1911.

I did not see the movie anyways. Just was adding my 2 cents.

Most of the toys used by The Punisher in the comic strip were modeled after Olympic Arms AR's and 1911's.
