Early Rodebaugh Hunting Knife
 

Just picked this one up yesterday.

It is a very early James Rodebaugh, made from forged ATS-34 and with a leather sheath by the maker. (he hates making sheaths!)

Showed it to Jim yesterday. He said it was the third knife he ever made. Said it should have been around 1996 when he made it.

FYI, Jim Rodebaugh is an ABS Mastersmith now, so this is like getting some of Picasso's early sketches after he became famous! :cool:
