I've never had a mossberg that did'nt work properly.

I do not have any direct experience with the shotgun in question, but I wouldnt hesitate to own any mossberg myself.

Mossberg used to (I don't know if they still do or not) make many shotguns for police agencies.

Cops are picky about their pieces and this one was quite popular. Ithica was another popular brand for cops.

I have a second-hand Mossberg pulled from a patrol unit. It's 20+ years old and still works like a champ. I don't have the model # handy, but it is very similar to the one you are asking about, hell it could even be an 88 by the looks of it.

You know, you could probably go to a local sporting goods store (Big 5) and check one out.

I always see ads in the weeklys for Mossbergs (shotguns). They're gorgeous guns (at least to me, although I'm a novice). Their priced around $200-300USD.

I've been considering getting one for the home but I am not too sure what I am doing. I would like to take a firearms safety course first and spend some time at the range.

what is the asking price? does it come w/ any choke tubes? how about the choke key? what kind of condition is it in? has it been modified? how long is the barrel? what do you intend to use it for?
