Typical Statist gungrabbing nonsense. The last thing the Publik Skools want is someone getting the idea that guns are anything enjoyable, fun, profitable, or ( God forbid! ) useful things! The anti-gun and anti-gunowner bias in Publik Skools is well-documented and pervasive: this particular student had lost a number of gun/hunting related magazines to teachers in the recent past, while other students were allowed to continue reading.

Year book photos are a school matter, and no high school student has the full portection of the bill of rights. The school can do what it wishes. Keep in mind that year book photos are denied for all sorts of reasons. I think this one is getting play because of political reasons.
IMO though, I don't think it is a big deal. Guns are hobbies too. |
