Anyone Have a CCW In San Berdo County Ca?
Hello All I am currently looking to try and obtain a CCW in San Bernardino CA. I know that is is possible to obtain one here. However I am a little frustrated due to that fact that I need to provide at least three letters of referance from people I have know at least a year. You are also required to provide 4 contacts on the app.
Now my problem is that I really don't know a lot of people and out of the friends I have asked for the letters or to even list as a contact only one has been willing to do so. It is very hard here in Ca to find to many people that are pro gun. I am hopeing that someone out there may have some experiance with this area and can provide some advice. If not well just consider this a rant. |

CA? Your screwed, you'll never get it even if you manage to fill out the app.
At least that is the going word on the street. http://www.packing.org/state/index.jsp/california For instance :-) Quote:

No You are not screwed in Ca!
If you had bother to dig a little deeper at the link that you provided you would see that most counties in CA do issue permits. I am a member at packing.org and have been for some time.
Since I live in San Bernardino County I do actullay have a fairly good chance of getting the permit. You are right that in that if it was L.A. County I would be out of luck but that is not the case. I was just hopeing to get a little more info from others who have gone through the process here in Sa Bernardino county. |

San Bernardino County is the easiest county in CA to get a CCW, but I doubt it will be easy.
BTW, where in Victorville do you live? How long have you been up here? Familiar with R&J Cutlery? Stop in between 12PM and 5PM Monday thru Friday and you'll fnd me there.

Yes I do own a bussiness here in victorville. And as far as getting the permit even the cause statement can be pretty broad. I do know one other person who was able to get a permit here in San berdo county and he was very helpful in walking me thru the process. I just wanted to get some diffrent points of view.
As far as living in Victorville I have moved to Apple Valley since I opened my account here and i just forgot to update my profile. I do know where your store is located. In fact I just bought a rifle from the gun store next to you a few weeks ago. |

CCW in SB county or SD county
I am a Marine stationed at Camp Pendleton from San Bernardino, I would like to get my CCW but don't want to spend the money to be denied. I have a TS clearance and have attended a concealed weapons presentation/carry course through the Marine Corps. What is the best route for me in obtaining my CCW? A friend told me not to waste my time with a CA due to the chances and just get a Utah for travel.
