Revolvers. 6" or 4" inch barrels.
I am thinking about getting a revolver. I really like the looks of the 6" barrels, but is there any reason that I should consider a 4" barrel instead?

Easier to conceal if you're carrying, but other than that, not too much I can think of. Man, I wish my dad had never sold his Colt Python with the 6 inch barrel.

i have an s&w 6in .357, a buddy has a 4in. im WAY more acurate with the 6in barrel.

With the 4 inch barrel you'll be able to conceal easier, but with the 6 inch you'll be far more accurate. It probably depends on what you will be using the weapon for - if it is for defensive purposes, the smaller barrel may be better for you, but if you are using it simply for target practice, I would get the longer barrel...

If you are carrying concealed, a 4" barrel is probably the outside edge of what can be hidden gracefully, and I would personally go shorter. If you are carrying open, a 4" barrel is perfect, as it is as long as most people can comfortably carry without the barrel dragging on things and getting in the way. For anything else, go with the 6" barrel. The additional accuracy and ballistic performance is so very worth it.
