I am helping a dear friend sell his rifle. He writes: "I am selling my BRAND NEW Winchester Featherweight Model 70 all terrain with BOSS (Ballistic Optimizing Shooting System) Caliber is 300 Win Magnum. It has a Leupold 4 *12 Vari X II with Redfield mounts....and Pre-64 jeweled bolt!! IT HAS NEVER BEEN FIRED - STILL HAS THE TAG ATTACHED TO THE TRIGGER GAURD! Perfect condition! Every piece of the rifle is Stainless Steel except for the Synthetic Stock.. I am asking $900.00 You would be the chit at the range!!!! The rifle is very light so it is a perfect hunting weapon..."

Good price for a very pretty gun, but you don't necessarily want a too light gun in .300 Win Mag.

Thats sweet! I wish I had $900 to drop on a new rifle. It would go well with my Savage 10FPLE in .308. Ive been wanting a .300 WIN MAG for a LONG time. Great lookin rifle and Im sure its a sweet shooter. Thanks for the offer though.
