yeah, all the Nitro's were rimmed cartridges. They were taken from the .45-70, .45-110, .45-120, and the .50-120 calibers.
Not important, I was just curious if it was different than the .500. appearently not. Thanks for the info and timely response. |

7.92mm I don't know about the United States, but those suckers are almost impossible to get here in Canada! It's easier to stretch the neck out on a 30-06, or use toned down 8mm.
p.s. anyone know a good 7.92mm supplier in Canada with reasonable prices? Non-Corrosive would be a plus! |

I have a 7mm-300 Weatherby Magnum that is a very flat shooting, long range and acurate caliber. This is a 300 Weatherby Magnum necked down for a 7mm bullet. The only draw back is that it takes about 3-4 hours to load the shells and you can only get 3 reloads max out of the brass.
