I would've said that not even Masuimi Max can make blatant Gun Safety violations sexy (Keep your finger OFF THE TRIGGER unless you're shooting the gun right now!), but I'm having trouble concentrating....

I must say, that is one hell of a corset, how do people breathe in those? (first image)

definitely good pics though... still doesnt sit well that shes breaking the cardinal rule (and if she was following the rules, the cameraman would be unfortunately dead in the last photo)

Does the "cardinal rule" apply to airsoft guns? The camera might have a welt from the 6mm plastic bb, but no more than that.

It applies to any gun, IMO. You sure that last pic is airsoft? Muzzle looks pretty good-sized.

The muzzle on my H&K USP 9mm airsoft has a dimension identical to a 9mm slug. They strive for realism even down to the muzzle diameter. 1/2" or so inside the 9mm muzzle is the 6mm barrel for the actual pellet.

And for staged entertainment I believe that as long as the weapon is checked and checked and checked again... it is alright to break a rule or two. Especially if it's not even a "firearm".

Nice! I'm not into airsoft, s'why I asked. I've got friends that have 'em for entertainment purposes (ie shooting at soda cans and such), and thiers have 6mm muzzles regardless of what they are mimicking.

I don't mind staged entertainment, and Masuimi Max definitely qualifies as entertaining. I still prefer good gun safety though. I'm a bit of a stickler about it, as any good gun enthusiast should be.

Been shooting for 25+ years and haven't had one unintentional discharge yet!

I worked on several movies with guns involved. There is always a pamphlet handed out the day before detailing the Motion Picture Association policy on safety when a weapon is on set, a safety meeting before the scene and a weapons master who brings in the guns to be used with the action open and shows everyone the empty chamber. Most of the guns used in movies are slightly modified to only accept special blank loads (a stop is usually welded into the barrel). If the gun is not to be shot in the scene a dummy gun is used.(An identical weapon with no firing pin) The ammo is inspected and counted, the gun is loaded, and the weapon master hands the gun to the actor. There are at least two police officers on the set as well. The actors who get shot are already rigged with squibs (little explosive charges packed with fake blood and chicken liver).
One movie I could recommend is "Love and a .45" It was shot in Austin Texas and has Renee Zelwiger (however the *** you spell it) in it.
