Thanks. It's not even a real suppressor. It's just a barrel extension like this one that is made to look like a suppressor. I suppose California wants to remove any chance of a homemade silencer ever touching a gun. But then any backyard machinist who can fabricate a suppressor could also thread a standard barrel to accept it too. So it really makes no sense.

i joined this site just to get in on this topic....
i loved my p22, i even had the one with teh serial number 0666, i bought it just to supress.{baby socom build} but after shooting it i was a bit distraught. dont get me wrong this thing fed ANYTHING you put through it. subsonic, HV, match grade, crap it didnt matter. it cycled flawlessly, never jammed not a single time. and for that id like to commend walther... it handles well, feels good and is lots of fun. when it comes to accuracy these things are absolutely horrid. that was the depressing part. i had the 5 inch with the barrel weight. the more accurate of the 2, allegedly. but it really was piss poor. its all i could do to keep the shots on the paper at 7 yards. its sad when my 1911 outshoots a 22 all day long at any range. so if you want a plinker or just a fun toy this is the gun for you, if you actually want to hit something id get a buckmark or ruger, if your feeling exotic EAA izh-35 |
