Knife info
I'm really starting to get interested in collecting knives, and purchased my first today with a CKRT S-2, more on a whim than for any particular reason. But for my next knives, I'd like to be a bit more informed.
What are some of your links for general information, as well as reputable Online dealers. Simply any links you visit on a regular basis. Or, if you suggest any magazines or books I'm all ears as well. |

Hi Baldrick,
I like AG Russell, you can find them here: http://www.agrussell.com/ For handmade and custom knives: http://www.knifeart.com/ I am sure there are thousands more, these are just two good resources that came immediately to mind.

For really highperformance knives check:
http://www.fallkniven.com This company makes knives for the Swedish military, even the US Navy and the US Marine have tested and approved these knives to be used by their soldiers in survival and combat situations.

Ahhhh tell me about it! I have managed to stay away from knifeart.com for a while, but while I was posting the link I couldn't help but have a little look.... I "spent" about $2,000 in my mind on the first page, I had to fight with my hand not to click the "buy" button

you might considder buying a book called Knives 2003 (or 2004) it is published every year and most book stores can get it. It's a great way to see what is going on in the world of knives, both custom and factory stuff......

I just bought some knives from knifezilla, and they came with virtually no edge. I couldn't cut myself or my fingernail em. Do they not come sharpened?
I bought: http://216.71.158.68/webcat/product850.html and: http://216.71.158.68/webcat/product1504.html Extremely disappointed, not even worth calling knives. Going to return em
