Blended Metal Technology
Was watching the History Channel just now. Love that channel. Had the history of the bullet on Modern Marvels. One of the newer rounds being developed was by Le Mas Ltd. It sounds really nice. From what the guy on the show said, they bond eight different types of metals in the round. This enables the bullet to remain solid and penetrate armor. Yet if it hits flesh, it can expand like a hollow point. Freaky stuff. Would love to try this round out.

Yuck. Who decided we needed deadlier bullets?

Um, yeah, ah, the bullet they showed was the regular old .223 w/ a fancier bullet. Just about any .223 round will go through body armor, so it seems like a mute point to me. I don't think they ever said it remained solid, just that it did penetrate.

There is no chance I am going to read a badly structured document like that :-P. I have my limits... everyone should learn LaTeX...
Can someone summarize? |
